Last updated: January 21, 2023
We built Puppr to help strengthen the relationship between people and their pups through positive training. Through these Photo Challenges, we hope for you to show off the great work you've achieved with your pups and to help inspire others.
Help us foster this community by following the Terms and Rules listed below. Violating the Terms and Rules will result in your content getting removed and your account potentially getting banned or terminated.
Community guidelines
Post photos and comments that are appropriate -- photos or comments that contain or depict nudity, sex, violence, political messages, abuse, or hate messaging are not allowed and will result in a permanent ban
Treat others with respect. We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying - any form of bullying or harassment will result in a permanent ban
Post photos that you own or have the right to share
Post photos that are on topic with the Photo Challenge
Text posts are not allowed and will be removed
Spam will be removed and may result in a permanent ban (this includes asking for bones or posting the same photo multiple times)
Dog Safety
If your pup is under 1 year old, be sure that the trick is marked with the "Safe For Puppies" badge before teaching -- your pup's safety is our top priority
Photos that include pups that are clearly distressed, frightened or in danger will be removed
Photos that include aversive training methods (eg. shock collars, prong/pinch collars, choke collars, etc) are subject to removal
Photo Challenge Overview
The featured lessons will remain unlocked for the duration of the photo challenge
You must be logged into a Puppr account to submit a photo
You can only submit 1 photo per dog per challenge. If you'd like to replace a photo that's already been submitted, you can do so by going through the same photo submission flow
You can report an inappropriate photo from the "..." menu by each photo. This will notify our team so that we can quickly respond
Content Ownership
You own the content you post on Puppr, but you grant us permission to use it (eg. sharing your photos on our social media channels). You can revoke this permission anytime by deleting your content or account
When submitting a photo, you have the option of linking your Instagram account so that we can tag you and give you credit if we do share your photo on Instagram
